My journey into project management has unfolded into one of the most exhilarating chapters of my career. Yet, I discovered my passion for project management somewhat unexpectedly, driven by my love for solving complex problems and genuinely enhancing the work life of my colleagues.

At Middleby Coffee Solutions Group, I was thrust into the challenge of modernizing outdated systems. Armed with Smartsheet and an unyielding drive for innovation, I spearheaded the implementation of a cloud-based change management system. My primary goal? To elevate visibility and streamline operations, thereby making day-to-day tasks more efficient and meaningful for my team. This was not just about improving processes—it was about empowering people to spend more time on work that truly matters, work that sparks creativity and drives the company forward.

The thrill of guiding complex projects—akin to navigating uncharted territories—ignited a deep-seated passion within me. Leading the development of the ES.1, Middleby’s pioneering venture into the high-end home espresso machine market, was particularly exhilarating. This project brought together a diverse team of engineers, marketers, and quality experts, each bringing their unique perspectives to the table. Together, we tackled the challenges with precision and creativity, ensuring compliance with stringent standards like ETL, UL, CE, and NSF, while also coordinating with external business partners.

The successful launch of the ES.1 marked a significant milestone in my career and reinforced my love for leading high-stakes projects. It exemplified my ability to merge innovation with functionality, delivering products that not only meet but exceed market expectations.
